Button Summary

Making a Call

Via Handpiece

    • Lift hand piece

    • Dial telephone number

Via Speaker

    • Press Speaker key

    • Dial telephone number

Via Headset

    • Press Headset key

    • Dial telephone number

NOTE:

  • Pressing # or the SEND soft key after dialling the telephone number will speed up the process

  • ‘0’ is not required for an outside line, just dial the number eg: 0412345678

Answering a Call

Via Handpiece

    • Lift hand piece

Via Speaker

    • Press Speaker key

Via Headset

    • Press Headset key

Transferring a Call

With a call in progress

  • Press Transfer soft key

  • Dial telephone number or extension number

  • Press # or Send soft key (optional)

  • Announce call (optional)

  • Press Transfer soft key to complete the transfer

or

  • Hang up call

Cancelling a Transferred Call

With a call in progress

    • Press Transfer soft key

    • Dial telephone number or extension number

    • Press # or Send soft key (optional)

    • Announce call (optional)

    • To cancel transfer and return to original caller press flashing line key (typically line key 1)

Parking a Call

Parking a call is the same as putting a call on hold, however the parked call can be picked up from any extension

With a call in progress

  • Press a park line key - Labelled P701, P702 etc

Alternatively

  • Press Transfer soft key

  • Dial 700

  • Press # or Send soft key (optional)

  • Call park location will be announced

  • Press Transfer soft key

or

  • Hang up call

Retrieving a Parked Call

  • Lift hand piece

  • Press required park line key - Labelled P701, P702 etc

Alternatively

  • Lift hand piece

  • Dial park location 701, 702 etc

  • Press # or Send soft key (optional)

Placing a Call on Hold

With a call in progress

    • Press Hold soft key

Retrieving a Held Call

Lift hand piece

  • Press Resume soft key

Alternatively

  • Press flashing line key (typically line key 1)

To View Call Log/History

Without lifting hand piece

    • Press History soft key

    • Use Navigation keys to scroll through list and highlight desired entry

    • To call highlighted entry press # or Call soft key

Changing Volume

The volume keys changes volume depending on the state the phone is in

    • If hand piece is in use, adjusts hand piece volume

    • If speaker is in use, adjusts speaker volume

    • If headset is in use, adjusts headset volume

    • If phone is idle, adjusts ring volume

Group Call Pickup

    • Lift hand piece

    • Dial *8

    • Press # or Send soft key (optional)

Direct Call Pickup

    • Lift hand piece

    • Dial *88 + ringing extension number

    • Press # or Send soft key (optional)

Call Forward Unconditional - Set

    • Dial *71 + destination number

    • Press # or Send soft key (optional)

    • You will hear a confirmation message

Call Forward Unconditional - Cancel

    • Dial *72

    • Press # or Send soft key (optional)

    • You will hear a confirmation message

Call Forward Unconditional - Toggle

This allows you to turn on/off a call forward unconditional without changing the destination. It uses the last destination set via *71

    • Dial *73

    • Press # or Send soft key (optional)

    • You will hear a confirmation message

Conference Call

With a call in progress

    • Press Conference soft key

    • Dial telephone number of second party

    • Press # or Send soft key (optional)

    • Announce conference when is call answered

    • Press Conference soft key to join calls

Do Not Disturb (DND)

    • Press DND soft key

A DND indication will be displayed in the status bar when it is active.

NOTE: if you do not have voicemail activated for your extension, callers will get a busy/engaged tone when calling your extension.

Accessing Extension Voicemail

  • Dial *123#

or

  • Press Message key

  • Enter PIN if prompted (contact your administrator if you do not know your PIN)

  • Follow prompts to access/set features

Voicemail Notification

    • Typically voicemail messages are sent as an email and there is no notification on the handset

    • When a message has been left power indicator LED will flash and a VM icon will appear on status bar

0 - Mailbox options

1 - Record unavailable message

2 - Record busy message

3 - Record name

4 - Record temporary message - Erase this message to return to unavailable message

5 - Change password

* - Return to main menu

1 - Play messages

First message will be played

4 - Play previous message

5 - Repeat current message

6 - Play next message

7 - Delete current message

Central Phonebook

Use this is to access a list of contacts that have been uploaded to the CloudPBX. Contact your administrator to update the central phonebook

  • Press Phonebook soft key

  • Scroll using Navigation keys

or

  • Search using number pad

  • Press Call soft key to call highlighted entry

Internal Extension List

Use this is to access a list of extensions on the CloudPBX

  • Press Internal soft key

  • Scroll using Navigation keys

or

  • Search using number pad

  • Press Call soft key to call highlighted entry
