Sounds files are greetings that are played to callers. Sounds files can be upload directly or recorded via an extension
Dial the following codes and follow the prompts to record a greeting from an extension
*301 - Records a greeting that will need to be assigned to desired IVR, ERG etc.
*303xxx - Change an existing greeting. xxx being the desired IVR, ERG etc. This will record a new greeting and once saved, it will be assign to the ERG etc.
*304xxx - Replace an existing greeting. xxx being the desired IVR, ERG etc. This will record a greeting overwriting the existing greeting. (Not recommended)
Allows for searching of greeting files. Searching for a single letter such as 'g' is all that is required.
The use of each greeting has a required file name prefix as per below, where $NAME is the description that you can give the file.
Queues / ERG
Queue greetings: 'queue-greeting-$NAME.gsm'
Agent announce: 'agent-announce-$NAME.gsm'
Periodic announce: 'periodic-announce-$NAME.gsm'
Queue Callback Agent and Caller announce:'qc-announce-$NAME.gsm'
Ring Group
Greetings: 'greeting-$NAME.gsm'
Confirm Message: 'rg-announce-$NAME.gsm'
Call Answered Message: 'rg-late-announce-$NAME.gsm'
IVR
Greetings: 'greeting-$NAME.gsm'
DID
Greetings: 'greeting-did-$NAME.gsm'
Search for desired file
Click on existing file name and edit as required
Ensure file is ticked, left of name
Click 'Rename'
Search for desired file
Ensure file is ticked, left of name
Click 'Delete'
Search for desired file
Ensure file is ticked, left of name
Click 'Download'
Click 'Upload'
Select file
Click 'Open'
Search for desired file
Ensure file is ticked, left of name
Click 'Listen'
Click 'Play' on popup window
If the file is not in the desired codec it can be converted. A file can be in multiple codecs.

Ensure file is ticked, left of name
Click 'Convert'
Select desired 'Codec'
Click 'Convert'
TIP: CloudPBX will play only sound file types equal to enabled codecs on dialing extension.
For example, Extension 1000 has only gsm codec enabled. When the same Extension logs in as a Queue Agent by dialing '*202 + $AGENT_NUMBER', all sounds played by CloudPBX (asking for password etc...) will be in '.gsm' format.
If multiple codecs are enabled for Extension 1000 (ulaw,alaw,gsm), CloudPBX will play sound files with better sound quality (ulaw/alaw).
