Call Forwarding

Forwards calls to a destination depending on the extension status.

  • Unconditional

Forwards calls directly to another destination. The voicemail box of the current extension is the default Destination Type.

  • Busy

Forward calls if the extension is busy to another destination. The voicemail box of the current extension is the default Destination Type.

  • No Answer

Forwards calls if the call is not answered to another destination. The voicemail box of the current extension is the default Destination Type.

  • Line Unavailable

Forward all calls if the extension is unavailable or not registered to another destination. The voicemail box of the current extension is the default Destination Type.

  • Destination

Enter the destination that calls are to be forwarded to. More destinations can be added by clicking '+' on the right. If multiple destinations are being set ensure that they are separated by timeout seconds, meaning that when first extension in the list hasn't answered during the timeout time-frame, the next one will be ringing and so on.

  • Timeout

Time out in seconds, after which the current destination will stop ringing and the next (if set) will ring. If all destinations do not answer the call will be forwarded to the extensions voicemail if enabled.

  • Alternate Destination for Internall Calls

Each forwarding type has the option of having different destination for internal and external calls. By default all calls will be forwarded to the same destination. To have internal calls go to a alternate destination tick 'Different Rules for Local Calls' and enter the destination.

  • Exclude list

Set up to 10 Caller ID numbers that you wish to be excluded from call forwarding, meaning that these numbers will be able to reach you. This rule is checked first before all other rules in the CF section.

  • Play Call Forwarding Message

If this option is set to 'Yes', the caller would hear a 'Please wait, your call is being forwarded. You're not being charged for the forwarding part of the call' message, notifying user that a transfer is being made.

  • Allow ES CallerID

If this option is set to 'Yes' the forward destination will see the CLI of the extension from which call is forwarded, otherwise it will see the original caller CLI.
