Call Pickup

This service enables user to pickup ringing calls from another extension.

  • Group Pickup

Dial '*8' to pickup a call from a pickup group that is it a member of.

NOTE: Extension can be a member of only one Call Group, but it can be a member of more than one Pickup Group​.

Group membership is configured in the extension settings Groups > Call Groups & Groups > Pickup Groups

Example:

  • Extension 1001:

    • Call Group = 1

    • Pickup Group = 3,4

    • Extension 2001:

      • Call Group = 2

      • Pickup Group = 1

If 1001 is ringing, 2001 can pick up the ringing call by dialing '*8'. As 1001 Call Group =1 and 2001 Pickup Group =1

If 2001 is ringing, 1001 cannot pickup the ringing call because 2001's Call Group = 2, and 1001 Pickup Groups are 3 and 4.


  • Direct Pickup

Dial '*88 + EXTENSION' (e.g. *881001) to pickup the call that is ringing on extension 1001
