This guide is for the WH64 headset pictured above, if you have a different model please contact Support for assistance if required. The headset can be connected to a PC and/or a physical phone.
Mute - Indicates when the headset is muted
Headset Charge - Indicates headset charge status
Headset Connection - Indicates headset connection status
PC Button - Answer & end call on PC softphone (eg Communicator). Requires connection to PC
Phone Button - Answer & end call on physical phone. Requires connection to physical phone
Voice Assistant Button - Press for 2 seconds to activate voice assistant. Requires connection to PC and a voice assistant configured.
Mute button (on side of headset boom) - Press the button to mute and unmute the microphone. Note also moving the microphone boom to the vertical position will also mute the microphone (as pictured)
Volume Up - Press to increase the volume of the ear phone speaker
Volume Down - Press to decrease the volume of the ear phone speaker
Power On/Off - Turns headset on/off.
Bluetooth - Hold button to enter Bluetooth pairing
Voice Assistant Button - Press for 2 seconds to activate voice assistant. Requires connection to PC and a voice assistant configured.
Call Control - Press once to answer call, double-tap to reject the call
Busy Light - Indicates call status and charging state. See Status Lights for more information
The headset has connections for both a PC and physical phone. It can be connected to either or both at one time. When connected to a PC the headset can also be used for listening to PC audio, without the requirement for installation of a softphone application.
An optional busy light is available, this can be placed to notify people when you are on a phone call.
On the back of the headset base the connections are
Power - To power and charge the headset
Busylight - To connect optional busy light
AUX - Not used, used to connect 3rd party headsets via EHS cable
Phone - Micro USB connector for connecting to a physical phone
Note: On a Yealink phone the USB port to connect a headset is on the back behind the screen.
PC - USB C connector for connecting to a PC for softphone and/or audio use
NOTE: Ensure that the correct device is connected to the correct port on the headset base. The PC must be connected to the port marked PC. The physical phone must be connected to the port marked Phone.
Off - PC not connected
White - PC connected and in idle state
Green - On a PC Softphone call
Flash Green - PC Softphone is ringing
The is typically off, but if Microsoft Teams is running on the PC it may be on
Off - Physical phone not connected
White - Physical phone connected and in idle state
Green - On a call using physical phone
Flash Green - Physical phone is ringing
On - Headset mic is muted
Headset not on base
Flash Red - Low battery (less than 5% battery)
Orange - Medium battery (6% to 49% battery)
Green - High battery (50% to 100% battery)

Green - Charged
Green - Headset connected to base
Flash Orange - Headset is out of range of base
Headset not on Base
Off - Headset is idle (not on base) or powered off
Flash Red Slowly - Low battery less than 5%

Yealink USB Connect is an application that can be installed on a connected PC to update the firmware and adjust headset settings. The application is available for Windows and MAC and can be downloaded from the below link to Yealink Support via the below link

NOTE: The software is not required for the headset to function.
Requires Yealink USB Connect to be installed and the headset connected to the PC.
If a new version of firmware is available Yealink USB Connect will display a notification
To check for a firmware update
Open Yealink USB Connect
Click Connected Headset
Click Update Device
Click Update Now. If the button is not displayed then there is no firmware update available

Wearing Preference - Set is headset is being worn on left or right ear

Call Control with Softphone - Enable/disable softphone call control
Headset Local Ringtone - Enable/disable incoming call ringtone
Base Ringtone Volume - Set ringtone volume played from the headset base
Local Ring Type - Change the selected ringtone

Wireless Range - Adjust the wireless range. If getting 'out of range' notification try increasing range. If getting interference try reducing range.
Smart Mute Reminder - Enable/disable mute reminder notification
Mute Reminder Interval - Set time between mute reminder notification if enabled
USB Computer Audio - Configure non-call audio when connected to a PC
Instant - Audio is played instantly (note that there is about a second of delay)
Delayed - Audio is played after a delay
Never - Non-call audio is never played
Always - Audio path is always open, will decrease battery life
Music Mode - Enable/disable optimisation of audio for music, if enabled battery life will be reduced
Does not affect audio whilst on a call
Platform - Set to UC
Advanced Settings > Calling
Call Device - Set device to be used for outgoing calls
Deskphone - Phone handset
Softphone - PC Softphone
PC Call Device - Set PC Softphone Device or Communicator
Call Priority - Set which call takes priority when a second call comes in
Predial Feature - Go off-hook when pressing the Call Control Button
MFB Once to Second Call - When a second call comes in, set whether to end current call or answer second call
Call Recording - Enable/disable call recording. Requires PC connection and recording software to be installed and configured
Phone Type - If using 'Unify Phone' set this option, otherwise leave as 'Normal'
Auto Answer When Undocked - Auto answer call when headset is taken off base
Auto Answer When Boom Drop - Auto answer call when boom is lowered from vertical position
Open Line when Undocked - Go off-hook when headset is taken off base
Training Mode - Allow pairing of multiple headsets to base
Equaliser for Calls - Select audio preference for calls
Sidetone Level - Adjust volume of your voice in headset when talking

Focus Mode - Force busylight on
Calling Indication - Turn off busylight for calls
