Direct Routing Setup

In this guide, we are using the Kinnekt UC branded solution, however your direct providers information will be shown instead.

The next step is to setup the link between the Cloud Kinnekt Connector to your Microsoft Teams account.

Click on Direct Routing
Select AU East in the Available Gateways
Add the Invitation Code that you recieved in your Authorisation Email and select the Domain Name you want to use.

You will see all the Available licences at the bottom, you should see your available licences for Business Basic and the Common Phone licence.

Click COMPLETE DIRECT ROUTING


Next you will see the Connector start the Direct Routing with Microsoft Teams


Next you will see that a new Domain Name is generated in the Domain Name section with the specific Connector details.

You will also see that the Domain Verification has moved to the next phase.


Once the Direct Routing is completed, you will see below that the Domain has been validated and Calling is ENABLED.

Please note that this can take time as the propogation with Microsoft can be delayed, depending on the Microsoft network connectivity at the time of setup.

After the Direct Routing has been completed, you can then go to your Microsoft Admin Portal, under licences you will see that there is a new user named donotdelete@custXXXX.sbcauseast.connecttoteams.com, you will be able to select this user and remove the licences that have been assigned to it.

When the above is completed, you will see those licences available again under Direct Routing
