Accept and Setup

In this guide, we are using the Kinnekt UC branded solution, however your direct providers information will be shown instead.

As the customers nominated Microsoft Teams Administrator, you will receive an email from ms-teams@ck-notifications.com.au with some basic information on what needs to be completed before completing/accepting the Connector setup.

Please make sure that you have a spare 365 Business Basic Licence and Common Phone Licence available so the initial Direct Route setup can be completed straight away.
Once this is completed you will be able to unassign these licences from the Direct Routing user that gets automatically generated.

Once you have purchased the specific licences above and clicked the COMPLETE button in the email you will be redirected to the MS Teams Connector Client portal, this will automatically redirect you through the first of the Microsoft Authorisation pages.

Click the Consent button and then Click ACCEPT

When first logging, you will see that there is a Microsoft Teams CDR item that needs to be actioned.

Click GRANT CONSENT

You will then be asked to accept the CDR app so that call records are shown in the Connector and Microsoft Teams

During the setup, you will also be asked to ACCEPT the UserSync App, which will pull the users email and licencing details into the Connector so you can see which users have the correct licencing to use the Connector.
